sun your blinding me

Today the weather did not have a clue what it wanted. one minute the sun was shinning and I had all these ambitious plans of going up the town and taking blog pictures, next thing I know the rain is lashing and my plans were dashed then the sun came up again and I decided to seize the moment before the weather changed its mind again, In hindsight I probably should have wore sunglasses as the sun was blinding me ! Congratulations to the winner of my giveaway ! and thanks to everyone for entering !

the skirt im wearing in this post im in love with ! and it sold out within an hour online at asos. what do you think?





Ps sorry for the fact that you can see my mammy taking these pictures ! really need to get myself a proffessional camera . i need help Im only a beginner so what would you recommend ???

    I think the pictures are great even though is not a pro cam... The skirt is amazing! U know u should get Nikon D3100, the only down side is that the timer remote control is not wireless.. or I haven't find one yet... But the camera it self is pretty good for a beginner.

    I've got the same skirt in black! I love the top you're wearing with it. I've got a Canon 1000d which I'm really pleased with, not sure that my photos are any better with it as most of the time I have to try and take my own! Actually let's face it, it's not the camera it's the model..!!

    depends on how much you are willing to spend, adn if you won't want it for shooting your blog and stuff.

    i got a canon power shot s 90, because you can still change the ISO speed, the white balance, etc, same as a nikon D60...or one of those other fancy big DSLR cameras.
    i got my canon S90 cause it's small like a power shot digital camera so i can still take it out and about places, and fits in my purse, but gives me a lot of the features a DSLR does...but isn't quite as big or expensive.

    My husband says: S90 for simple compact camera, that you can also bring around for shooting on the go. If you want something thats still relatively compact, but a bit more expensive, go for the micro 4/3 panasonics. which give pretty good image quality still.

    If you're set on shooting great image quality ones, go with a cheaper entry level dslr like a canon 550D or similar Nikon.

    i love the skirt so much! I'm a beginner at this too, and probably haven't had as much success as you seem to! my only suggestion is to work with friends, that's what i do and if you can find a friend with a good camera it's always fun just running around a pretty place taking pictures.

    Great fun pictures. I would recommend an entry level Nikon D40 with a 18-35mm kit lens plus a 50mm f1.8 fixed focal as a surplus for those portrait shots. They do give great picture quality and so easy to use.
